If you’ve been craving a quick creative escape, this is your sign. Go ahead and save your spot!!

These sessions bring seniors, teens, and adults together to make art in a warm community setting!! You do not need a background in painting. You do not need fancy supplies. You just need a moment to breathe and a willingness to create something colorful.

Here’s the January Lineup (in order)

Seniors Watercolor Workshop

Monday, January 5

11:00 AM – 12:15 PM

We start the year with a soft watercolor morning for seniors. Expect slow strokes, gentle layers, and a whole lot of calm!

Teen Acrylic Painting Workshop

Tuesday, January 6

6:00 PM – 7:15 PM

The next evening we switch up the energy!! Teens get the space to paint bold colors, express themselves, and explore acrylics with confidence!

Seniors Watercolor Workshop– (Second Session!)

Monday, January 19

11:00 AM – 12:15 PM

If the first session fills or you want another creative morning, we’ve got a second watercolor date ready for you!!

Adults Acrylic Painting Workshop

Tuesday, January 28

5:00 PM – 6:15 PM

We close the month with an evening for adults who want a creative moment that feels grounding and refreshing. No pressure. Just paint. Breathe. Repeat.

All workshops take place at:

Ivory/Baker Recreation Center

1920 Stroud Park Ct, Charlotte, NC 28206

Once a workshop hits 16 signups, that date disappears from the form. So if you don’t see a session listed anymore, it means that one is full.

What the Workshops Feel Like

Imagine walking into a cozy space where everything you need is already set up. Brushes ready. Paints ready. A friendly group ready. You get guidance when you want it and space to explore when you need it. People chat, laugh, focus, pause, then step back surprised by how much beauty they created in just over an hour.
